Caluroc

Caluroc is synthetic sand a gravel made of calcium aluminates with controlled particle size. The combination of Caluroc and Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC) is used to produce mortars and concretes which are resistant to temperature and thermal shock cycles (up to 1,300°C) with very high initial mechanical strength and a prolonged durability due to its high resistance to abrasion. Also, an excellent durability is achieved with respect to the biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion (BSAC) and chemical corrosion (sulphates, chlorides and acids up to pH>3.5).
